Recommendation on Grammar Checking Software (compiled by Wen Hao)

Before handing in your writing assignments, it is better to let the machine proofread your grammar and spelling first.

Here are some useful websites:

【001】NOUNPLUS:http://t.cn/RGBXG2c
【002】Grammar Check Online:http://t.cn/Rf84dwq
【003】AutoCrit Online Editing:http://t.cn/RqdTyVa
【004】Writing and Book Editing Software:http://t.cn/RM6nz6l
【005】Virtual Writing Tutor Grammar Checkerhttp://t.cn/RqdTyVX
【006】lang-8:http://t.cn/RM6nz6O
【007】Hemingway Editor:http://t.cn/8Fp9Zk7
【008】GrammarBase:http://t.cn/8sIcjP7
【009】1checker:http://t.cn/Rhdtgn6
【010】toptenreviews:http://t.cn/RM6nz6W
【011】grammarly:http://t.cn/zTjKYuV
【012】gingersoftware:http://t.cn/Rq7SAzo

Some of these may need you to get registered and pay. I have not tried all of them. But the free version of Grammarly is not that bad. Please find one that suits you(r) writing the best.

about attendance

Dear all,
I have included this part in the syllabus too.
Notes on E-Absence:
If a registered student is absent from the lecture for more than three times (including 3 times!),
s/he would FAIL the course, UNLESS sufficient medical proof, or other formats of evidence is provided immediately.
When you have to be absent for justified reasons, please contact the teacher as soon as possible.
On June 19th, we will watch a documentary film together online.
Attendance will be taken. Please write to me if you have any questions.
Thank you!
all the best
Ran
