Write a 300-400 word reading journal (citation style refer to Chicago Manual of Style/CMS; see http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/home.html; Google for more; a more accessible version is here). Don’t be overly concerned with grammar (although spell-check will be helpful!), but do put a lot of thinking into your reading journals since they will be key to fruitful discussions in class and even your final paper.
SUBMISSION
Please submit the Journal to the lecturer’s email address maran@nagoya-u.jp with the subject “ACH READING JOURNAL I/II/III”. I prefer Word Doc (if you haven’t installed Microsoft, PDF is fine). The Word file should contain “ACH”+ the student’s name in its file name. I’d send out confirmation email once your assignment is received. Late submission is not accepted unless emergency happens.
FORMAT
Include the following information at the top of each assignment:
Your Name
Course Title
Submission Date
Title of article [please do not use the reference entry as the title…]
